Galaxy Draperies is a well established in-home window covering company serving the greater Los Angeles area since 1976. We are looking for are looking for an outgoing and detail-oriented scheduling coordinator to join our scheduling department. We are looking for someone who is very personable over the phone, and is great at building relationships with people. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Details of position
- Answer all inbound calls
- Transfer to the appropriate department
- Schedule appointments for design consultants
- Assist with calendar management
- Conduct confirmation calls and check voicemails daily
- Assist with the operations department as needed
- Update and maintain client information in a CRM (Salesforce)
- Greet and handle clients that walk in to the showroom
- Check the status of current jobs in work
- Assist management with projects
- Data entry
Must-haves of candidates
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist in an office setting.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experiencing using Salesforce a plus.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Ideal candidates also have
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize them.
- Experience in the window coverings industry
- Experience scheduling appointments for in-home consultations
